Our goal is to provide the youth with an outlet where they can gather and interact in a positive way towards their goals in order to ensure their success. The following blue print outlines the building and the purpose(s) of each floor in the building. ROYALT2Y is currently accepting donations in order to purchase the building that will make this dream a reality.
The basement of the building will be designated as a studio for the arts. The basement will have an area dedicated to writing, a recording studio and a small lecture room.
The first floor will be open for live entertainment and will include areas for fundraisers and neighborhood gatherings. The first floor will contain a small hall with a stage with a surrounding area for removable seating and tables. Additionally, there will also be a kitchen in the rear of the hall for catering. ROYALT2Y will also have an area set aside on the first floor for our culinary arts program which will teach those interested in culinary careers cooking basics and lead them in the right direction – which will further them in this career path.
The second floor will hold the administrative offices. There will also be conference room, a large lecture room, computer lab and a room for teaching entrepreneurial skills. This floor will be dedicated to leading direction for building a virtual brick and mortar small business – showing teens how to build a small business and brand and market it. As part of the education the youth will learn how to create a proper business plan. Additionally, the second floor will have an area dedicated to showing the youth the blue print of searching and applying for scholarships and higher education.
